Dez and Gracie

So I know it has been a while since I have posted but I have a lot of pics now to start sharing and am going to start with the most recent.  Over the weekend I took pics of Dez and Gracie.  They are cousins one lives in Illinois the other in Alaska.  Needless to say they don't see each other much, in fact I think this was their first meeting.  To add to the excitement their grandparents just moved from Flordia to Minnisota and so while Gracie is in town Grandma came to see her and Dez.  They are so cute and did so good with pics.  That is until Gracie got tired and she was over it.

Well I have been busy again lately after spending a week at Leadership Lab I am refreshed and rejuvinated.  Now am back to work taking pics and sharing them with all of you.  This weekend I took some pics of a friends one month old.  He got a little grumpy for a bit but we still got some great shots.

Jessica and Mark's wedding

I know it has been a while since I have posted but I had surgery on my hand a few weeks ago and have been recovering and then working on the photos I took of a wedding at the end of may.   Mark is on the fire department with my brother.  I did their engagement portraits in the fall and then took well over 1,000 pictures of their wedding.  So it took a while to get them all edited and off to the printer.  Now that they are done I thought I would share some with everyone.

The crying baby makes the decisions.

Well sometimes when you are planning things it just doesn't work out.  We planned on taking outdoor photos this Saturday but the snow had other plans for us.  So we did it inside on a background and then the baby had other plans.  We got a few family poses then little 9 month old Neveah decided she was done and started crying and wouldn't stop.  So I took a few more of the older kids and we called it quits.  But we still got some good shots.

Outside Portraits

I am so excited that it is warming up.  I had about enough of winter and am enjoying the warmer weather.  We have all our windows open today and the fresh air is wonderful.  It is also time to start thinking about getting some portraits done outside as well.  Whether it is just the kids or the entire family we can get some great outside portraits and enjoy the weather as well.
